Lancashire Libraries This project follows the same process as Derbyshire Library above but there are around four times the numbers of training sessions. This contract begun in December 2000 and will end again in March 2004. We were selected to deliver ECDL training and testing.

Our challenge was to develop both instructor led and CBT courses. We have now completed over 200 days of training and the testing shows that our delegates have a 97% pass rate. In Lancashire the emphasis of the training is on the classroom training.

The Other expected outcomes courses are only deliverable in the classroom format and are being rolled out with the ECDL training. MORAQ is being used by Lancashire Library as a pre-testing programme to check the delegates have absorbed the knowledge they need in order to begin their testing.

In order that training can continue after the life of the project, we are training internal trainers and invigilators. These people are supporting the process and will be delivering some of the training. As part of the Lancashire project we also create the schedule.
