NHS PASA
The Hemingway Corporation's relationship began with NHS PASA when they were still NHS Supplies in December of 1997. We began by developing a competency based training programme as each role within the organisation had specific IT requirements. We then developed a testing programme (MORAQ) to carry out an accurate on line training needs analysis.

The delegates then attended training to their specific requirements delivered in one and two hour sessions throughout each training day. They could attend for as long or as little and they needed or were able to fit in to their schedules.

NHS Supplies changed from Office 4.3 to Office 2000. They were the first company to take on this new software and we were the first company to deliver training in Office 2000. We put together a programme of courses, still based on the competencies, to upgrade the skills of the users. Since then we have worked on further innovations with this remarkable company. We have delivered MOUS training to super users using multi link video conferencing and smart board technology. We have developed training programmes for merging IT and soft skills training. We have worked on CBT to raise literacy skills, and standardise business English and document styles within their workforce.

When they became NHS PASA, they re-tendered for their IT training needs and we were fortunate enough to win this bid in 2000 and were contracted to them on a call off basis until 2003. The Hemingway Corporation is delighted that NHS PASA has taken up the option to extend this contract for a further two years so we will now work with them until 2005.
